Announcing our New Forum!

In the last 8 months, our Slack channel has grown from 100 people to over 2000+. Based on feedback from all of you in the last few months, here's some of the reasons we're launching forum.replo.app

It's better for keeping information around. In Slack, messages are automatically deleted, questions aren't surfaced on search engines. We'd really like for people to be able to directly Google questions they have about Replo.

It's better for longer discussions. This time last year, we knew each and every one of our customers, now thousands of brands use Replo every day and thousands more join every week. We have an amazing roadmap in the next few months, but we'd really like to be able to work in the open and get feedback at every stage from real users. This means we need to be able to keep discussions going over long timespans.

It's better for support and moderation. Even though we're a small team, we offer support on Slack to anyone. Since messages on Slack aren't tied to a Replo account, streamlining support is extremely difficult. We've built forum.replo.app so that anyone can log in directly with their Replo account. We'll be able to moderate bad actors, but also better support experiences, badges, and exclusive content for Replo customers!

We're keeping Slack around since many of you have mentioned how awesome real-time communication with clients, experts, and teams in Slack. We'll continue to moderate it to make sure it is still a place for healthy discussions, but we will occasionally move support and announcement-type conversations directly over to the Replo Forum so that we can persist content long-term.

The "MTV Cribs" Framework - The Easiest Way To Create An Email Marketing Welcome Series Flow

If you are new to the world of email marketing, changes are it all feels a bit daunting.

Flows here, triggers there, need to make sure exclusion lists are set.

We're going to make it simpler for you.

First, you need a Welcome Series. This is the email sequence that introduces new site visitors to your brand and nurtures them into your best customers.

You can build a great Welcome Series using the MTV Cribs Framework.

The MTV Cribs Framework is a 3-step process to get customers into your list and treat them so well they become your best customers. Here's how to do it.

To start, pretend that you're a famous celebrity welcoming MTV into your home.

Your home is your brand, and each room in your house is a unique product, feature, or benefit to share with your customer (MTV, in this example).

1. "Welcome To My Crib."

Invite them into your universe with warmth and excitement.

Thank your new subscriber and show them that they made the right call in subscribing to your list, with more special info coming soon.

2. "Here's The Overview."

Right after the introduction, every MTV Cribs episode does a quick explainer of the house. How many rooms, the square footage, and so on.

In your Welcome Series, it's time to give customers an overview of your business and brand.

The why behind you existing at all and providing the services you do.

Then tease the products/services that will help your audience achieve whatever outcome they came to you for.

3. "Check This Out!"

Now, you'll take your new guest by hand and show them around the place.

Walk through each problem you solve and benefit you provide.

Showcase the products and services that address these problems and benefits.

This is an opportunity to sell without selling - the rapport and context you have built should do the heavy lifting!

Do this well, and you'll have created new customers and given them the context and desire to be a long-time customer!
