The Challenge: Low Conversion Rates and Unsustainable Conversion Funnels  

Previously, Woxer drove all its ad traffic to the homepage of their store; each time a new product was introduced, the brand would have to rework their home page. Unfortunately (or fortunately, in other ways) the company introduced new products at a very rapid pace.

Not only was it time consuming to continuously design new home pages, it also made the brand’s conversion rates highly volatile and reliant upon whichever product content or visuals happened to be on the home page. If the results of a recent photoshoot for a new product did not resonate as much with Woxer’s audience, or the copy no longer matched what was running on their ads, the home page would stop converting and Woxer would lose sales. 

Subsequent A/B testing and custom redesigns were often required to tailor the home page to the new product and its ads; it was another time sink whose finished work was switched out once a new product dropped. 

The result was an ad to landing page conversion funnel that was difficult to maintain and time consuming to tailor to each product drop. It led to inconsistent conversion rates across the entire store that were beyond the team’s control. 

In addition, Woxer was looking to grow its conversion rate. Paid media was getting so expensive that the team knew it would only make sense for them to spend more on advertising once their creative and landing pages improved.

With high acquisition costs and lower conversion rates, the team realized that they had to optimize the way they created conversion funnels before sinking more cash into paid media. Only then would Woxer be able to achieve the metrics they were looking for. 

It was high time the brand turned to a landing page builder. 

The Solution: Building And Iterating on Landing Pages With Replo

Throughout their search, Woxer tried a number of different landing page builders. None, however, were as user-friendly or as deeply integrated with Shopify as Replo.

The Result: Doubling Store Conversion Rate and Decreasing CPA

With Replo, Woxer now has an entire system of conversion funnels built out for each of their product drops across different marketing channels, including Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook. For every drop, the brand creates a new custom landing page, using a prior winning page variation as their baseline version. They test everything on the page—from headlines, to images, to product copy

To keep track of conversion rates for each specific traffic source using their own Shopify data, Jose drives their traffic from each channel into separate landing pages. This way, the team stays close to their data and maintains a clear view of how their pages are materially generating sales for the brand.

For example, in their most recent product drop for Flex, an athletic underwear line, Jose’s team created three variations of the same landing page—each with different hooks and its own URL. They drove the same ad to each one, identified which version performed the best, and turned off the other two versions. The entire process took them two to three weeks, after which the team went on to test two more variations of the winning version to try to push conversion rates even higher. 

It is a process that Woxer has been repeating with every single product and style drop since the brand onboarded with Replo, and the results have been astounding. 

The brand has doubled their prospects from social media traffic. Prior to Replo, the brand sat at an average 1.2% conversion rate for traffic from Facebook and Instagram according to first click attribution; now, the brand sits at 2.5%, sometimes even going as high as 2.74%, depending on the day. Since onboarding with Replo, the brand has seen a 208% growth in conversion rate over the past 90 days.

On top of that, Woxer has cut their cost per acquisition (CPA) by $10, achieving the lowest acquisition cost they’ve had all year, despite the surge in paid media prices. As a result, the brand has since spent around $400K in Facebook advertising in the same quarter with a much cheaper cost of acquisition.

Throughout the process of continual testing, Jose has found that even the most unassuming elements on a page—such as an FAQ section at the bottom of a page—can lead to surprising bumps in landing page performance.
