The Challenge: Enhancing Customer Experience With Tailored Landing Pages
As a lifestyle goods brand, Simple Modern has always been differentiated by its broad product catalog in a wide range of unique colors and patterns. Not only that, the online store leveraged many seasonal and limited edition product drops, such as the Harvest Collection for Halloween, as well as products featuring licensed characters, such as Spiderman, Elsa, or Mickey Mouse in their Marvel and Disney Collections during back-to-school season.
When Simple Modern started spending more on advertising, the team wanted to make sure they could curate audiences’ shopping experiences according to their product preferences. This meant more than just driving ad traffic to a product detail page featuring a single product, or sending traffic directly to a homepage.
Instead, the team was looking for a cohesive advertisement to landing page funnel that was consistent from beginning to end. If a licensed product advertisement was targeting audiences with a preference for Spiderman, then they wanted to make sure every step of the process from first click on ad, to email sign-up flow, to landing page, to check out, was tailored to highlight products featuring the Marvel character.
Not only that, the team was looking for a landing page building experience that was fast, intuitive to use, and no- to low-code.
Aaron Jesse, Creative Director at Simple Modern, and his team started considering potential options that could help them enhance their customer journeys. They looked at what other brands were doing and even talked to Connor Rolain, the Head of Growth at Hexclad, who referred them to Replo.
The Solution: Creating A Cohesive Ad To Landing Page Journey

As Aaron notes, the team started exploring what Replo could do and soon realized that they were missing out on many powerful features that would create a more tailored and engaging experience to shoppers. On top of that, the app proved to be easy to use and straightforward to learn—the intuitive UI and highly responsive customer support certainly did not hurt.
The team onboarded in May 2024, right before an upcoming sale. They started building a new landing page in Replo upon signing up, and had a fully functioning landing page go live to promote the sale in two days. Building pages in Replo was far more simple (pun intended) than expected, and the result was exactly what the brand was looking for.

Since onboarding with Replo, Simple Modern has been able to build out many pages for all major licensed products and seasonal or limited edition product releases. Each of these pages helped create a unique and cohesive campaign that otherwise would not have been possible on Shopify alone.
Their Harvest Collection landing page is one of them, featuring product videos in the hero section and dark, spooky designs to channel the Halloween spirit. Plus, the team was able to explore using product imagery that wasn’t featured anywhere else in their store. All advertising and email content related to the landing page was also tailored to have the same Harvest Collections styling, so that each step of the conversion funnel “...felt like an occasion.”
Outside of sales and campaigns, the brand has also been leveraging Replo for other key pages that support the company’s marketing, including “About” pages, “Careers” pages, and even landing pages for content partnerships, such as an exclusive offer page for listeners of Jenny Allen from the podcast “Made For This.”
Last but not least, the many features in Replo’s landing page editor have made it far easier to tailor the types of offers provided. Options such as one-click bundling have helped to drive conversions and improve sales.

The team at Simple Modern has been able to run numerous tests comparing Replo landing pages to a regular Shopify collections page.
Between 7/5-8/15 in 2024, they tested a standard Shopify Collection page versus a Reply Landing Page for Spidey Kid, which was their best selling design at the time and one of their highest trafficked pages during the campaign. The Replo landing page delivered a 0.88% conversion rate, 46% higher than the 0.60% on their Shopify Collection page.
They ran the same test for their Harvest Collection. The Replo landing pages delivered a 0.47% conversion rate, while the Shopify Collection Page led to a 0.31% conversion rate—a 51% difference. They did not run this test for very long, only 8 days between 9/6 to 9/14 in 2024, as the results were clear fairly quickly.
Landing pages built in Replo were, and still are, the way to go.
